Bitmap photoshop

When we use Photoshop for image processing, we often find that we have processed the images appear blurred. Things like this can not be avoided because the images we have processed with Photosop mostly bitmap images. While considering the characteristics of bitmap images, are blurring the picture is one of his trademark. Characteristics of bitmap images like anything, please read the tutorial Photoshop this time.

Bitmap images that are often also called the raster image is an image that is composed of a collection of pixels. Pixel themselves from the words picture element, which is intended as a component of the smallest image.
Because the collection is composed of pixel dots, then lies the an image that we refer to as bitmap images. The number of each point determines the quality of bitmap images. The number of each point in the image measured by the unit of measurement dpi / ppi. For example, in one square inch there are 72 pixel point, the size of the image is 72 dpi (dots per inch).

If we compare an image in low resolution with other images in higher resolution, it will look different sharpness of the image when the image is a zoomed in large sizes. Examples can be seen in the picture below, the image on the left with 72 dpi seem more blurred than the images in 300 dpi on his right.
Things like this happen because when we open it with Photoshop and we zoom in a large size, or when we enlarge the image size, the distance of each pixel will become increasingly tenuous. This causes the picture looks blurry / unclear.
Then, When do when we determine what level of resolution that we use? This question will be answered when we know the purpose of making pictures. For if the image we intend to use as the display on the monitor screen, be it as wallpaper, need to upload to the Internet such as header blog, or for other purposes, then the size of the resolution is 72 dpi only. But if for purposes of printing, size is the resolution should be 300 dpi or greater.
