Nikon D5100

Nikon D5100 16.2 megapixel sensor is known to have an LCD screen and adjustable, continuous auto-focus in movie mode, max ISO 25,600, and the new Special Effects mode with four filters that work well for taking still images and video / film.
Nikon D5100 is the latest series of the D5000 is the first Nikon digital SLR cameras with LCD screens folding.
A new feature in the D5100 is largely aimed at users who want to record video / movies with their DSLR. The camera is capable of capturing movies at a resolution of 1080p and 720p at 24 or 30 fps. LCD screen 3-inch size, with 921,000-dot density can be flipped out and tilted up to 170 degrees, which can be used in movie mode and Live View. Special Effect mode the camera gives users four filters that can be applied to the film and still images: Selective Color, Color Sketch, tilt-shift effect, and Night Vision, which increases the ISO to 102 400.
D5100 has the ability to auto focus on the continuous mode, a feature film which debuted in the D3100's. One of the known weaknesses of this feature is that it produces a loud noise being picked up by microphones on-camera. To help overcome this problem even with additional costs to consumers, Nikon released a new external microphone called the ME-1 which correspond to the camera hot shoe mount and plugs into the mic input port. It is designed to compensate for most of the noise created by the auto-focus lens. Microphone ME-1 will be sold separately starting in April at a price of $ 180.
